Through the course with Debra Gould, Janette has learned many great secrets to become very efficient and productive when staging and decorating homes.

Finding the courage to open up her business and share her talents with everyone was from the numerous compliments she constantly received. She has applied her gifted skills and talents to her family and friends for many years prior to establishing her business in staging and decorating.

Janette Dengo is the President of Refined Elements a home staging and decorating business. She is also a Graduate of The Staging Diva™ Home Staging Training Program with a certificate from Debra Gould. Her talent, intuition and practice has allowed her to create dramatic decorating results for many years. She works with each client individually focusing on needs and musts in terms of fixes and changes to their home, while maintaining on budget.

Owning two homes at the same time, Janette had the opportunity to personally experience the stress and fears that go along with carrying two mortgages. She decided to fix up her older home to maximize profits, but not until moving all her belongings into the new home. Every week the home sat on the market mattered and so did every dollar spent. Prior to the fixups and upgrades her older home would have sold for approximately $155,000 in that neighbourhood. She upgraded and created a fabulous home that showcased in a superb condition and sold for $223,000 with multiple offers. It was the highest priced home in that area for its size. The cost for upgrades was $25,000 and her profits at $43,000 which were reinvested into her new home.

Remaining calm in highly stressful situations has been learned from her previous experience in a corporate position prior to opening her own business. Janette worked for a financial corporation dealing with tight deadlines and volume of cash on a daily basis. Assisting executives and a sales manager she had many projects pending completion. She learned to adequately distribute time in order to meet deadlines with the ability to prioritize tasks. Janette always applies herself respectfully, diligently and absolutely in order to accomplish all endeavors she undertakes.
