FIREPLACE ROOM TRANSFORMATION
Once again as on the previous page we focus on this fireplace room from a different angle. The furniture was in great shape but blended in with the dark floor which was overwhelming. An area rug would be ideal in this case to tie the pieces together and lighten up the space. Perhaps some corner tables would help to make it appear as a sitting area. Art on the wall would draw the eye upwards and take the focus of the dark floor.
This fireplace room was beautifully transformed. The walls did remain white but the art piece on the wall draws the eye up onto the walls and the tall plant helps to fill the height as well. The area rug softens the look of the hardwood floor, lightens up the space and also brings the furniture pieces together. The same items were used but some key items were added to make the area more pleasing to the eye and warm up the space.
